I was lucky enough to see this film in the theatre and I must say that I was really impressed. It is a very well done war film and the cast does a great job. It is not the greatest war film of all time, but it is an excellent movie. The story is well done and it is extremely suspenseful. It is also very well acted and the plot is well developed. There is also a great sense of morality and history. This film is not for the easily offended, but I think anyone who likes war films would like this movie. I give it 8 out of 10 stars.

The amazing D-Day movie. The most underrated movie of all time, a true true art, that is really sad that so few people have seen it. There is no wrong way to watch this movie, if you like historical dramas you must watch this movie. It is a drama of epic proportions and should be seen by every person in the world. My rating of 8 out of 10.

Though I have seen only a few of the other films of the series, I must say that this is my favorite. There is a really good balance between the special effects and the story line. This film was released on the heels of the 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Rambo: First Blood Part II' (which, for some reason, has not received a U.S. release). This film may have some flaws, but it is a fantastic film. 8/10

The filmmakers did a great job, but what is a great movie, when it is completely a piece of tripe. This movie has nothing original about it. Nothing new to offer. The cinematography is so obvious, the color, the lighting, the angles, everything. Every shot is staged like the movie is going to end. This movie is full of very obvious tricks, which lead to the typical American Hero and plot twists. In some ways, I think the movie is better than the book, but in some ways, it is much worse. If you read the book, you will be sorely disappointed with this movie. You will see what I mean. In a nutshell, the film is worth watching, but in the end, the book is better. The book had a lot more to offer, the script was better, the characters were interesting, and the ending is a complete waste of time. I think the book is better than this movie. It was just not good enough.

This is the first of three movies in a series of five of which are being released. It is interesting to see how the series is tied together. First is "The Guns of Navarone", the battle of 1812 with the Indians and then the battle of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1846. This is a gritty, accurate, and authentic depiction of the Battle of Guadalupe Hidalgo, a battle that resulted in the death of the second president of the United States, James Polk, in 1846. Next is "The Rifleman", a story about a Texas Ranger who became the first Ranger to kill an outlaw and a convict who escaped from a Texas prison. This is a terrific movie that is different than the other movies in the series, and yet still very good. Lastly is "A Handful of Dust", the story of a war hero who had a long association with the Pawnee people of Oklahoma and was the first to bring them freedom from slavery. This is a great movie that will not be for everyone. The only reason that it is not on my Top 100 list is because of it being a little too long and not enough action. If you like action, this is the movie for you. Also, this is one of those movies that is extremely difficult to see on the big screen. If you can get a theater and see this, it is a terrific movie.

I liked this movie a lot, it's not just about being a POW or a POW victim but about the complicated human relationships of all these people. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did, because it's not your usual WWII movie, but I liked it. The way it was shot, the way the actors were acting, the way the camera was shot. I think that is a good sign of a good movie. I especially liked the way the Germans were portrayed. You can see they were just ordinary people, not as we see in the movies. The thing I like most about this movie is the acting of Tommy Lee Jones and Brendan Gleeson. They both did a great job. The German soldiers in the movie were very good, but they weren't always as I expected them to be. I think the best thing about this movie is that it doesn't just show the Nazis. I also liked the way they portrayed the resistance. I especially liked the part where Tommy Lee Jones goes to the bridge with the Colonel and tells him the story of how he is being rescued. He tells him he has to run in order to save his son. I also liked the part when the prisoners are in the prison camp. It was very interesting to see the prisoners and how they are treated. I liked that they were realistic. They didn't just make it look like a camp, they actually were in a camp. It was very convincing. The music was also good. The movie doesn't show just one song from the German songs, there are many. I think this was a very good movie. I would recommend it to anybody.

Stallone's role is to be this psychotic, tragic, yet emotional man. Very impressive performance from the man. The supporting cast is superb as well. I cannot imagine anybody else playing that part. For anyone who was in World War 2, I recommend this film as it should be seen by everyone. It is one of the greatest war movies ever made. And I think its time that this type of movie is shown on the big screen. The final scene is emotional and may be a little bit unrealistic, but I don't think it detracts from the story. It is a great film. I recommend it to everyone.

Historically accurate? I think not. The script is so terribly inaccurate. The acting is terrible. There is a ton of action but there is nothing that makes it exciting. The whole time I was thinking "Wait, I really hate this movie". I think the best action scenes are when they are actually fighting. The only time I got into the movie was when they were fighting the Russian. I do not understand why they are so critical of the battle scenes, they are great. There is a huge scene where the "guy with the rifle" shoots at a Russian tank with a half-track. It's a huge cannon with no more than 4 or 5 feet of shot. So great. And then the first tank gets shot down. That scene was awesome. I was in love with that scene. It was like an American football game. The explosions were unreal. I think that was the best scene in the entire movie. The rest of the action was okay. I didn't like the rest of the movie. It was the one action scene that was the most enjoyable.

When a film makes you think, it's a good movie. This film did that, but it didn't make you think about the problem it's trying to deal with. It was a good attempt, but it could have been better. The film made me think about something I hadn't thought about before. I think it's a good movie to see when you're in a quiet moment. It's a great movie to see in the cinema, because you'll get out more of the scenery, the scenery is beautiful. It's not quite up to the level of the book, but it's good enough to recommend.

I saw this movie in the theater with my father, and I absolutely loved it. It was full of great historical detail, great cinematography, and great acting. It's certainly not a war film, but it's a story about one man and one war, about how two different forces are trying to destroy one another. This film is extremely well made, and it's one of those films that stays with you for days after you've seen it. Some people might find it boring, but I did, and it's because it's very human. I know that it's not really a film about the Holocaust, and it's not about the Nazis, but it's about the human side of the people who fight the war. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a war film, and a good one at that.

The only reason I didn't give this movie a 10 is because of the ending. I'm guessing that the producers thought that the movie was over when the scene with Jackie being interviewed in the cabin had ended. Maybe they should have told the audience, "And that's it?" Then we would have been at least three hours from the actual ending. Still, it was an excellent movie with some great acting by the entire cast. However, I would not recommend it to anyone except as a first date movie or a first date movie with the wife.

I had the opportunity to view this movie on the big screen in Seattle. I was looking forward to it and was not disappointed. This film tells the story of the time of the Spanish-American War. We get to see the life of the Spanish Americans during this time. We also get to see the hardships and the difficulties they faced in their daily lives. The film gives you an overview of the Spanish-American War. I enjoyed the movie a lot and it was a lot of fun. There were a lot of military themes that are reflected throughout the movie. It shows that the Spanish Americans were fighting for their country and they were fighting to defend it. The movie also shows that the Spanish Americans did not have to look back at their past and had a lot of fun trying to figure out what they were going to do. This movie will be a great example of what can be done in a movie.

I remember watching the same film in college and thinking it was the most entertaining film I had ever seen. Well, I have seen it a few times and have a couple of buddies that watch it and they like it. So, I am looking forward to the release of this film. If you are a fan of war movies you will probably like this one. If you are looking for a good movie to watch this summer, this is it.

This is a classic war movie. The photography is outstanding. The costumes are fabulous. The drama is gripping. It is an accurate portrayal of the war. I do not understand why this movie was not nominated for best picture. I was very disappointed that it did not win best picture. It was outstanding. This is a movie that you have to see.

The "preceding " film on this list is "The Longest Day" from 1979, but this is one of the best war films ever made. When the US Navy deploys a plane into the Northern Japanese Islands to destroy a radar station, some of the US sailors are killed, and a dozen others are wounded. The survivors take to the air, flying their plane from Honolulu to San Diego. The plane crashes, and they crash into a watery grave. After the plane is repaired, the crew is air-lifted out of the country. They soon discover that they have been turned into porcupines, and that there is a radio tower on the island that's broadcasting to enemy forces. These porcupines can't attack the plane, but they can smell its odor, and they'll attack anyone who walks by. The pilot is convinced that his crew must be eliminated before he can finish his radio transmission, so he leads his crew into a desert area. They soon meet another porcupine, who is in the air, but they're forced to return to the crash site. The porcupines soon kill the pilot, and the plane is almost destroyed. Meanwhile, the crew is forced to fight for their lives, with the planes on the ground being destroyed by the porcupines. Eventually, the pilot escapes with the help of his wife and children, who have been brought to the island. This film is terrific. It has everything a war film needs. The film is well shot, and the performances are excellent. It's not a film you can skip, but it's not a film you'll want to watch twice either. It's a "must-see" film.

I think the only reason that this film has received so little attention is because it is a very violent film. But in this movie the violence is more of a metaphor for the many issues that were discussed during the war itself. The film is set during the war and the people of Japan. They are forced to become Japanese, are taught the language, and are required to dress in the same way. As an example, a woman is forced to wear a straw hat and is told that it's traditional for women to wear a straw hat. During the war this idea of culture is used as a way to break people from their normal behavior. It's very different from the way that it is in real life. In real life people would have been able to live their normal lives as Japanese, and they would have just lived their lives as normal people. The one who does not understand this is also not able to have his life as normal as the Japanese. This movie is extremely violent, but at the same time the movie is more of a story of the other side of the war and how people in Japan were forced to live their lives. Overall the movie is very good, and is one of the best war movies that I have ever seen. This movie is in my top five war movies.

In "Northwest of the World", the movie "Hiroshima", you can see the actors and the director who was influenced by real historical events. And it is based on real facts. As a matter of fact, it was a real war, but it was only a German production. It was also a very sensitive topic for the Japanese and the Germans. And it was one of the most violent war in history. It was a perfect subject for movies. However, I don't know whether the movie is more realistic than the movie "Hiroshima". But nevertheless, "Northwest of the World" is an outstanding movie. If you have not seen it, you should see it. It is an excellent movie, with wonderful performances, a great soundtrack, and a great storyline. It is a must see for the people of the World.

I remember reading some of the negative comments about this film in the very early 90's and having an inclination to see it at the time. However, having now seen it for the second time (a really big reason why I watch many films), I have to say that I think that it is a really well made film with some really brilliant moments. There are several moments of really gripping tension and suspense, especially in the battle scenes and also the dogfights. All the major characters are well played by the leading men and in particular Jeremy Irons. Of course, I have always admired Jeremy Irons and this film was no exception, as he has always been a truly gifted actor. John Malkovich is also excellent as the villain, with a very strong supporting performance from his wife, Winona Ryder, who has to be one of the best actresses of all time. The film is definitely worth watching and it is a film that I would recommend for all people of all ages.

This is my favorite war movie and I loved the book. I am glad that I watched it on cable. The war in Iraq is not "real" and they just seem to forget it. This movie is good. I'm glad that I found it. In my opinion it is better than Braveheart, Pearl Harbor, Braveheart II, and all the others. I am surprised that it is not rated higher.

If you want a WWII movie, go see A Bridge Too Far. If you want to see a movie about WWII, go see On Golden Pond. This is a nice film about the fight for freedom in WWII. The actors were excellent, and the scenery was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the visuals and sound in this movie. It is just so cool to see that it was done with no special effects. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
