With American airspace closed in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, all US bound international flights already in the air had to be diverted, many of the Transatlantic flights going to Canada. Despite serving a town of only 9,000, thirty-eight of those flights, commercial jets, carrying 6,700 total passengers and crew landed in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador. The airport was built to accommodate jets due to its geographic position as the easternmost point in North America to allow refueling if required. The story of the the meeting of these 9,000 (plus more from surrounding communities) and their 6,700 unexpected guests, most who wouldn't have known where Newfoundland and Labrador was let alone Gander, and all who probably would have chosen any other metropolitan airport to land at if they had known the situation, and their five to six day stay in the area before American airspace was once again opened, is told. In what was a tragic precipitating event, the Ganderites, in true Newfie fashion, stepped up to open their lives and homes in making their guests feel welcomed and loved in their time of need, they largely running on adrenaline in their exhaustion over those five/six days, with many of the 6,700 stating that they had a better time, despite the circumstance, than their just taken vacation or probably what would have been their upcoming vacation at their intended destination. The legacy of those five/six days are also told, from memorial events, to enduring friendships, a marriage between who were then strangers, and the genesis for what would be an award winning Broadway musical, "Come From Away".

I saw this film the first day it was released, and am now writing this review. I have been wanting to see this film for a while, and it was good. It was just that there was one glaring problem with the film. The acting. It was uneven at best, at times completely bizarre. I think they could have picked up some quality acting actors, but they did not. My main problem with the movie was the direction. I really liked the cinematography and the shots they took of the lives of the people in the film, but it just didn't work. I didn't get the sense of being able to see them as people. I was not transported into their world, and felt like I was watching a video game. I was also very disappointed with the scene that ended the film, because I was expecting it to be something that would have pulled me into the film. It didn't. I am a big fan of Robert Redford and I know he is very good at what he does, but I have never seen him pull off an emotional performance like this. I will be honest, I just didn't see him as a human. Maybe he was trying to do something a little different, but I just couldn't connect with him as a person. I thought this movie was lacking the emotional depth to draw me into the film. I am not saying it is a bad film. I liked it, but it just wasn't as powerful as I was hoping. I am sure that you will agree with me. This is a good film. It is well done and entertaining, and that is why I give it 8/10 stars.

It was a really good movie that was more a social film and a social message. No matter what people did or where they came from it was still good for a reason. If you want to see a movie that is about a social message and a story that is interesting you should see this movie.

I am one of the few that felt the loss and stress of losing my mother in 2009. It took me a long time to find out what happened and what happened to her. I thought, "Well, it was just a traumatic event that made me lose my mother." Well, I've been watching and studying on the topic and just can't believe that it was actually such a long time ago! That's when I came to the conclusion that maybe the person that lost her mother died the day before. I had the feeling that it wasn't really a traumatic event at all, but more of a traumatic event that made the other person's life a living hell. In the documentary, we can see that there was a reason that made this event happen, but I didn't get to the point of it. I had a hard time understanding what really happened, but I realized that maybe it wasn't the person's fault. I feel that it could have been a sign from God that she died the day before, but then again, I am not really religious. However, it made me think more about the issue. I am one of those who felt that God really did help me when I was a kid. I had many times when I was in a situation that I felt really bad. I felt God's hand, but I didn't know what it was. I was thinking about it and wondering, "Why didn't he just do something about it?" I realized that maybe God doesn't show his hand. This documentary is good because it shows what happened in the family and also what happens in the village. I really think that God used the family and the people in the village for his purpose. He was using them to help him to accomplish what he wanted. I was really impressed with the strength that God put in the people, because they were able to do something to help him. I was very impressed with the strength of the family and the people in the village. I thought that the documentary was really good and I would like to see it again. It's a documentary that is worth seeing.

I would recommend this film to anyone, but it is most definitely NOT suitable for kids under 12. This film is very realistic in the way it looks at what happened to many of the people in Vietnam, and many of the people who survived it, and of course the life after. This film shows the true horrors of what happened to these people. There are so many good aspects to this film. First of all, it shows what the people in the US are doing in the war. They are bombing countries all over the world, and killing people in Vietnam. The action scenes in this film are intense, and very realistic. The storyline in this film is very good. It shows the stories of how many of these people died, and how many of them did not. The movie also explains why the war was such a tragedy. The director did an excellent job of telling the story, and showing the true events. This film has a lot of great things going for it. The acting was great, and the director did an amazing job. Overall, I give this film an 8/10.

Yes, I understand the disappointment and frustration of many fans of the 'D' movies of the '70's. I also get the frustration of people who want to criticize all aspects of these movies. I am a total fan of the 'D' movies and I love them, I love the actors, I love the action sequences, I love the film. It's a very hard thing to come by, but this documentary tries to do it. It really shows the people behind the scenes of the making of these movies, the dialogue and the decision making process. The cast is very interesting, I especially enjoyed hearing the conversations between the actors. But, there is a lot of people involved in the making of this movie, so it is difficult to talk about it. It really is a great experience to watch these movies for the first time and then later to go back and see what they had to say about the making of this movie. I loved the film, I loved the actors and I loved the film. I thought it was very good.

Yes, it's an extremely popular movie in this country, but no one seems to be talking about it. I have a friend who watched it and loved it. So did I, but I'm not sure how he did it. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. You won't regret it.

I really enjoy reading reviews on this website. Many times I see the same guy who has watched every movie that has come out in the past few years giving them glowing reviews. I don't know why but I get annoyed with them. And I hate to be told that I have to give a movie a 10 star rating. "How can you rate it that high? It doesn't even deserve to be in the top 25 films of all time." Well, I have to say that this film does deserve to be in the top 25 films of all time. I know that it's a little over 3 hours long, but it doesn't feel like it. The story follows three people who have just moved to the big city in hopes of making it big, but end up spending their entire lives in a small town that they barely knew. All of the characters are great and I just wanted to spend time with them. They all feel like real people. They make you laugh and they make you cry. It's just a very realistic story. The acting is all very believable. This movie is definitely worth a watch, it's definitely not one of those low budget movies that is only good for a few laughs.

The way that The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford portrays the years of hardship and depression that Jesse James endured during his life and the years after his death, I think, made it a very interesting movie. Jesse James was also a man who was never given the proper opportunities, and this movie showed him on his way to greatness. I think it would have been interesting to see him as an actor and as a person. But, the movie did not give us much insight to Jesse James as a person. This movie however, did give us a look at what happened to Jesse James after he passed away. I think that this was important for the average person, because it was very similar to what we see from people who are in the news these days. I think that this movie is good for people who are not fans of the James family. This movie would be good for families to watch and for people who don't know much about the James family. I think that this movie was very good. I recommend it to people who want to see a look at what happened to a great man.

I love this movie. It touches so many emotions. I am a very active sex/teen drug/alcohol/gang/biker/Christian person, and this movie helped me get over the wall. I even looked for a band to join. I'm glad I found this movie. I really recommend it to everyone.

I haven't seen a documentary so long before, and it's a very enjoyable one. I thought that the way that this film was presented in an unconventional manner was very interesting. I'm not familiar with most of the actors that this movie featured, but I did enjoy seeing what they had to offer. I liked how it kept us guessing throughout the film about the characters that were being portrayed. I liked that the director kept us guessing and didn't try to explain everything that was happening. I also liked that we didn't feel like we were watching the same story every time we saw the same people. I thought that the people that we saw were being really nice, and they were all doing what they could to help the people that they met during their journeys. They also seemed to care about what they were doing and trying to help. I liked the director's choice to include music that played throughout the film, and I thought that it was well done. I thought that it made us feel more connected to the people that we were watching. I think that this movie is a very good one that everyone should watch.

This is an amazing movie. The story is about a young boy who wants to go to school, but his dad (James Caviezel) doesn't want to let him go. He is stuck in the hospital because his parents don't want to let him go, but he will go. There are some great interviews with different people. The movie is slow at first, but the end makes up for it. It was very touching and the movie even got me choked up. I hope the director does a sequel and we can hear more about the boy and his dad. This movie will make you cry and it will make you think. It is a great movie and I recommend it.

The best thing about this documentary is that it tries to answer some important questions, such as: How much of the pain and suffering in Iraq is due to US policies, and how much of it is a result of individual and societal issues? What are the reasons for the lack of progress? What do the Iraqis have to do with US policies? What are the current US policies? These questions are explored in a way that was very natural for me, given that I've lived in Iraq for eight years and I've had to deal with it personally. I was very disappointed that the main focus of the documentary was the US involvement in Iraq, rather than the personal and social impacts of US policy. Also, the documentary mostly ignored US policy, as the US government has largely focused on its domestic issues and also the lack of political stability and security in Iraq since the US invasion. There is a lot more that I'd like to say about the documentary, but I'll have to spend a little time on this one.

It is good to see the positive reaction to the film from the first screening at SXSW in Austin, TX, it was nice to see some of the major players in the field and to see how it was received by the general public. It is an interesting story about people who go to extraordinary lengths for the people in their lives, for the people they love, and for the ones who are struggling. The footage of the people in this film is great, and the strong supporting performances from the people featured are powerful and moving. The opening scene is particularly powerful, showing people in their late 20's, middle-aged, and even in their early 40's, accepting an invitation from a friend to go to Mexico to see a film. They were desperate to get away from the troubles in their lives, but no matter what they did, they could not get away. This film is powerful and moving, and should be a part of anyone's film collection.

I'm one of those people who would have liked this movie more if it was on TV, but I'll still give it a good rating. I've heard the criticism from some of my friends that it's boring. Well, that's the thing about the movies that I like, they get boring when they reach a certain point. I like this movie because it's about a guy who finds himself in a tough situation and ends up going to the hospital and finding himself in a similar situation. It's a movie about the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. The whole movie is about finding a way out of the situation, but it doesn't end with a happy ending. It's a movie about how you have to do things for yourself and that's what he does. And, the way he does it, he really does a great job. It's a really interesting movie and I liked it very much. I would say that it's really inspirational and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

This is a documentary about the impact of Hurricane Katrina on the lives of the survivors. It is an emotional and informative film and shows the tragedy of the aftermath of a hurricane. This is a well crafted, gripping documentary. I was inspired by the honesty and authenticity of the film. The film touches on the human struggle to recover from a tragedy and to survive. This is the kind of film that you should see. People who live in the US can relate to the sense of loss that the characters feel. Katrina was a nightmare and I have never seen anything like it. There were so many scenes of chaos and destruction that was hard to watch. This film shows the human spirit and how people can come together in a time of need. I also appreciated the clear and simple storytelling and the graphic footage of the storm. This film is well made, well done and well worth the time it takes to see it. This is a must see. If you don't feel the need to see this film then it's not for you. If you do, please go and see it.

As a filmmaker myself, I really enjoyed the overall film. I felt the director was doing the best that he could with a weak budget. I was very excited to see how the director was going to build the characters. I was extremely impressed with the film's visual storytelling. I felt that the director really tried to develop the actors' backgrounds. I was especially impressed with the actors, especially the 2 main characters. I felt that the director really showed the passion and love that the characters had for their musical instruments. I also really liked how the director worked his visual storytelling into the film, I really felt that it was a good way to tell the story. I would recommend this film to anyone that has a love for music or film.

This is a must see documentary of the life and death of R.E.M. It tells the story of the band and their passing through the eyes of their last two members. I recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it before. It tells how they met, how they met, how they became close friends and how they finally parted. You will see what a relationship can look like. You will see how it can go downhill. You will see how people can be willing to put their lives ahead of anything. And most importantly you will see how people will be willing to do anything to be loved and to be remembered. This is a great story. But you have to watch it with an open mind. It is very emotional and shows the true side of love and friendship.

I saw this movie, in a non-Movies theatre in Milan. In a day of great movies (most of them, not good ones) this was an awesome one. I was not expecting anything from the film but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the fact that it was shot and photographed in the real Italian countryside, and I was particularly impressed with the use of the stars in the film. I was amazed that this film did not get the big credits like it was supposed to, and I felt that the film was too short. So I ask you to not judge it on the size of the credits. The director, and the actors, deserve the credit they got for their extraordinary performances. Thank you.

This is a very good documentary that will have you thinking about the people in your life. The storytelling is incredible. The film is great to watch in my opinion. The documentary was very well done and the interviews with the people were really good. I would recommend this film to anyone. I would like to see more documentaries about the people in the film.

I saw this movie at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. I was mesmerized. I had read the book years ago, and I enjoyed seeing it again. I was completely enthralled by the cinematography and the fantastic music. I don't want to spoil it for you, but I thought the movie really captured the story of two families who have experienced the loss of their children during times of war. The movie is a wonderful representation of the loss of children, and the dignity of the bereaved. I really hope to see this movie again. I recommend it to anyone.
