For me this was an under-rated gem of a film. I have just watched it again, after a long time, and was immediately drawn into the world created by this film. However, the film is about as predictable as they come, and at the same time the film is very creepy. I read reviews about the film and the British audience seemed to be utterly shocked by this film, and that shows its a cult classic. I think what they are saying is they thought the film was too 'Hollywood' and it was not supposed to be like that. That being said, I just did not understand how the film managed to get a 9.7 from critics, and only got 4.4 from audiences. It was made in the early 90s, and if the film has lost a bit of its luster over the last 25 years, then that is just sad, but then I hope the next film from Hellboy director Guillermo del Toro will also gain some audience, and thus return to the success of the first film. Overall I liked this film a lot, and I hope it will get an Oscar nod, and its well worth a watch.

These movies are great and you should see them, especially if you are a fan of the horror genre. I guess most people have seen them all and you really should. I was really surprised by this one, and it isn't just another slasher movie. While other slasher movies try to take a horror and make a comedy of it, this one makes it work. The actors are actually actually good in this, and the plot of this movie works really well. This movie is a lot like a horror movie and its acting and story line are really good. The main character is actually kind of sweet and her acting is actually good. The story itself is actually good, even though it is basically a bunch of dead people. The fact that there is really good acting and story line makes this movie awesome. It is not a good movie, but it is actually pretty good and it is worth watching. I really recommend seeing this movie. 8/10

A highly rated sci-fi movie about a small group of survivors who travel from one asteroid to another in search of an alien life form. The characters are likable, the "running around the planet" scenes are amusing, and the cinematography is striking. The special effects are also very well done, particularly the sounds. The film takes a back seat to the acting and this will most likely annoy some people but it serves the movie well, the majority of the characters are likable and that's what the viewer wants. The movie is not perfect, but it's much better than most people would have expected and is highly entertaining.

Yea, I watched this movie without a lot of expectations, just to have fun and on the surface I was extremely disappointed. I think a lot of fans expected a much better production, with more blood and gore. For me, the movie was too boring. Everything seemed to be so obvious. I think the director tried to include more blood, but that was too little. I think if there was more blood, it would have made more sense. I think the movie would have been much better if it had more details on the characters. I think the characters felt very one dimensional. I also thought the villain had too much screen time and a lot of the time he wasn't evil enough. I don't know why they didn't add a lot of humor, I think it would have helped the movie. I would say the acting was good and it had a pretty good story line, but I thought it was too boring and over the top.

While watching this movie, I was awestruck. In the end, the reason I didn't say it was amazing is because I was a little confused on a few details. I just don't want to give anything away. I guess one thing I did like about it was that I could see how some characters had been altered into what they were in this new reality. The story was great, the effects and special effects were great, and the actors were excellent. However, the movies overall was just a little bit short of an action movie. It is a very interesting movie, but I don't think it could be called a great movie, it is a great movie, but it could have been a little bit longer to allow it to do more and to be a little bit better. But if you are looking for a very intelligent horror movie, or just a good action movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat, I recommend this movie.

In 'Schmaltzy Alien' (2016), it is several years after Alien. A farmer named Magda (Greta Gerwig) has lost her husband. She has come to find work at a tourist attraction in Southern California. She works in a rice field one morning, and comes across a stranded craft in the fields. Inside is an intelligent alien creature (Rufus Sewell), who offers to mate with the human and restore his species to life. The romance is sweet and tender, and it appears that Magda and the alien are making a natural and loving relationship. But when the scientists arrive to study the creatures, they realize they are starting to taste the alien, and this sets in motion a new, increasingly dire situation. 'Schmaltzy Alien' was very good. The director is Kij Johnson. His previous film, The Devil Wears Prada (2010), was an amazing film, and Johnson has shown in this film that he has more things to tell. We start in Mexico, and then head into Southern California. And that's where we meet a lot of great characters. We meet a man named Garret (Schaumburg), who is a high-ranking member of the sheriff's department. We meet the woman of Garret's love, Maj (Allyn Lahr). They become friends, and they seem to be an excellent couple. They are going on a trip to visit their son in Mexico, but that trip has changed a lot. They must leave, but they don't know if they can. There is another man in the group who is bad-ass. We meet a man named Mancuso (Bryan Green), a security guard who has met Garret and Maj. Maj seems to care for Garret more than she cares for him. There is an older man who has been an FBI agent for many years, so he is going to retire. He tries to put some distance between them, but this changes when he sees the beautiful alien creature. There is a man named Blake (Benson), a gas station attendant. And then there are these other people we don't know much about. There is a woman who runs a restaurant, and an African-American man named Gunner (Michael Blomquist), who is trying to stop Maj from leaving him. There is a young scientist (Eddie Kaye Thomas), who is going to come up with a way to cure the alien, and is also the leader of an agency called the Project Speckled Angel. This group seems to be very diverse, and it seems like they all know each other. It was fun to see so many different types of people in the cast, even though this was a co-production between Johnson and Ang Lee (who co-produced). It was also great to see some of my favorite actors, who are in many different movies, come together in one film. Graeme Harper is back as Garret, and he's also very good. My favorite actor is Kenneth McMillan, who is back as a scientist, Dr. Wolfgang Wagener. It's also nice to see the great Mary Elizabeth Winstead in one of her first films. Wes Bentley is also very good. Magda is very good in the film, and this is an excellent film that was very well-done. 'Schmaltzy Alien' is very entertaining. It is slow-paced, but it's a good film, and I highly recommend it. I give it a B+.

Karnstein is a psychologist that sets out to prevent himself from being killed when a Space Warrior (the source of his fame) is released from the clutches of Doctor Shimmer and is seeking revenge. That's basically the entire plot, so if you have nothing to do, don't worry, there are no monsters here. Karnstein, obsessed with exterminating aliens from outer space and having a sex with a machine, has created the Paradron, a machine capable of saving him. On their way to the setting, the robots come across a robotic woman and Karnstein decides to show off what his invention can do. Not only does he try to expose the machine to the world, but the ship he's on also needs an upgrade. When the scientists start the upgrade, Karnstein starts his rampage. Karnstein is a pure character study and if you really love it, you'll be following Karnstein's exploits in a single head on. Any character study film has to have villains who are fully formed and powerful. There are few films that can stand out as some of the best in their genre, but Karnstein is one of those few. The Paradron is absolutely menacing in both action scenes and emotional moments. But it's only when the characters are cast into a robot suit can you actually watch them. The special effects used to create the robot, known as a Paradron, are top notch and it's clear that the most time was taken on the robot itself. The acting in this film is pretty good with Ray Parkas, the most talked about actor in the film, doing a solid job as Karnstein, and Kevin Conroy is good as the scientist who created the Paradron and has great chemistry with Pita Wilson as his wife. The real standout though is Tommy Wirkola, who plays the villain and totally nailed the character. Without the film having more action, I don't think this film would be as strong as it is. I won't reveal who the villain is for the sake of it, but watch this film to see who this film is best suited to. As the film plays out, it's surprising that it actually plays out a lot like a video game. The writing is great, the acting is spot on, and the special effects are a major standout. When I say the effects are a highlight, it's hard to do a film with action and characters that aren't filled with special effects. The special effects in Karnstein are top notch, and the process of creating the Paradron is one that could have easily been a YouTube clip. This film has a lot to live up to, and the cast and the effects can be counted as one of the better action films of recent memory. It's a little more than just a movie about robots with special effects, but in the end it still becomes one of the best action films of recent memory.

I like this film a lot. Some critics were clearly upset over the shocking storyline. Don't know if they are sincere or not. I thought the filming and cinematography was great. I have been a horror movie addict for the last decade and this is my favorite. Its been quite a few years since I have watched a new horror flick, and I think this one is on my list. I am recommending it to my friends. I am not a big fan of the plot, but I think it was okay. The performances were good. Tilda Swinton was very good as always and got the "what-the-hell" moment from me. The ending was rather surprising. This movie had a very slow pace but it was quite good. The characters were not well defined, but I think that made it interesting. I think it was a bit of a let down in some ways, but I think I can still like it. I don't want to ruin it. You will see it for yourself if you give it a try. A film you must see. It has not been rated yet but it should be soon. Go see it, and let us know what you think.

I was a bit disappointed, but still very happy with it. What I did not expect was the level of action that went with it. As the film started, it was so dark, and therefore I was afraid it was going to be slow, but I was wrong. The story was quite good, but I'm glad it was not only a story, but also a very creative action-adventure film. The story follows a woman named Elvira, who is dealing with the aftermath of a plane crash, and is transported to a new, remote place in order to get rid of all the monsters that she has been creating in her own lab. Elvira and her crew find themselves in a world filled with all kinds of deadly monsters, and it is up to Elvira to save the day. It is easy to say that I'm really pleased with this film. Of course, the special effects were amazing, and the monsters were awesome. I don't think there is anything I can complain about. Everything about this film is great. I really loved how the story turned out, and how the film had a nice feel to it. Overall, I think this film deserves a lot of praise, and is one of the better films to come out of 2012. I hope it gets some more attention, because I think this film is going to be a classic for a long time. I highly recommend it to everyone, because it is a really good film. It is fast-paced, dark, and has a nice story, a really cool world, and even though the special effects are great, this film is still worth seeing. I can't wait to see what the next film is going to be like.

This movie might have been much better if it had a new director, that could really pull of what could have been an excellent horror movie. That would be like saying, "I hope the next one is a Clint Eastwood action flick." B:I2:G-17-H (if you like the script). The message is clear: Man must save what is his. He must destroy everything in his path. You can't ask for more. You can't ask for more from an action-horror movie. This movie should have been a treat for the audience, but instead it will leave you dry-eyed and tired. It's the typical horror movie from another world. And the conundrum: "Who are we, and what is the horror of what we do, what will we do, what will be the consequences, what will be the consequences? To protect our treasure, is our ultimate responsibility."

This is not the best scifi movie I've seen, not even close. But this was something totally new, and different to anything I've ever seen before. So if you like really good scifi, you'd better watch it. I can't get over how good it was. It is the most original scifi I have ever seen. This is a bit below the Alien movies, but still better than the first Prometheus.

I remember when this movie first came out, I was in my dorm room, and I went straight into this film, and loved it! It was so creepy. It had a really unique plot. It was very well made. I am not going to give it away, but I will say that it had the most disturbing scene, that was when the little boy was standing at the window, and he slowly opened his eyes, and then he started screaming, "Father!" He was so scared. Anyway, back to the story, but this film is a classic, and now, I have seen it numerous times. I can't get enough of this film. This film had me in my seat the entire time, and was even scarier than the original Saw, that was one of the best horror films ever. And this film has one of the most intense scares I have ever seen. I really don't understand how this movie didn't win an Oscar, it was so good! This is my favorite film, and I hope the sequel will be even better! *1/2 out of *

Gripping and terrifying. Between this and Misery we have the best horror films in the 80's. It had a few flaws but as horror films go it is very good. A truly one of a kind movie. I have read reviews about how it was a clone of an 8 year old movie. I was totally fooled. The very premise of it being a clone really should have been treated with disdain. The fact that it was a clone of a child movie shows that the director is willing to go the extra mile to make a movie with some life. The ending is fantastic and very tragic. Saw it at the cinema.

I had the good fortune of seeing this at the Toronto Film Festival, and had a very good time watching it. It is not for the faint-hearted, but is a damn good piece of horror entertainment. I had never heard of it, but wanted to see if it was as good as I had heard, and it was. I found it to be very well acted, realistic, and well done. The acting is very believable, and it is without a doubt one of the best performances of the year. The concept of the movie, and even the actors themselves, was great, and that makes it even better. I highly recommend this movie, and will be seeing it again. If you are in the mood for a horror/thriller that is well done and realistic, then this movie is for you.

This is a fairly low budget, low budget production, but it's quite good nonetheless. The first thing I noticed about this was the amount of digital effects used. The effects are very good. It's like they made it in the same day, but there's no other help for the cost. The creatures are very well designed. The transition from a human to a vampire is believable. The same can be said for all the other creature design. Also the music used is very good. The lighting is good for the most part. There's a scene with lots of artificial lighting and some really great color work. I also loved the score, which contains the basic premise of what will transpire. There's also a great soundtrack, which is used throughout the film. Overall this movie is a good thriller, with a good plot, not great, but a good thriller. It's not particularly well-known, but worth checking out.

The movie starts with a marriage on fire in New Mexico and the husband (William Cusak) has a history of hallucinating - even if he is doing this to cover up his infidelity with a married female member of his family. He is soon hospitalized in an insane asylum with Dr. Hargrove (John Lithgow) as his doc. The wife, Sally (Dee Wallace), is kept in a mental ward under guard. The first thirty minutes are a little slow for the viewers who are used to monster movies but a couple of scene changes in the mental ward and the killer(s) themselves later on have the viewers asking what the heck is going on. The long and almost tedious transition from therapy to an insane asylum to the lair of the psycho(s) has some twists. The psychiatrist Dr. Hargrove (Hugh Laurie) is not crazy. He is trying to save Sally. There are strange deaths and unexplained occurrences. I was expecting a real killer movie but there are no real monsters. No screaming victims. Just a single frame of a one fingered man on the ceiling. But it is worth watching. The ending is good too. Recommended.

I had heard a lot of good things about this movie and watched it for the first time last night, and I must say that this is really one of the best movies I've ever seen. Sure the cast are pretty unknown and there is not much screen time but the story is so well written and the setting is great. I was hoping that there would be a twist or twist ending but I have to say that this was a really great ending, I loved it. The movie is really not all that violent or gory, but that does not make the movie bad. The main characters have very strong characters, you just have to love them and they are totally believable. They are likable, each character is pretty easy to connect to, and the movie does not take itself too seriously at all. I loved it! I hope to see more movies like this one, but I think there is still room for a couple more movies to be like this one. I would definitely watch this movie again!

The only movie I have ever seen that really captured the world as it is and the urgency of it. The movie is about a car accident involving an 8 year old girl and a train car. The train picks up a mysterious blonde girl who can see into the future and is clearly mentally ill. The train leaves at 20:00 or so and the train is headed straight for the destination. The train is leaving before the 20:00 meeting time, so the normal rules of time travel don't apply. As the train reaches the destination the girl starts to hallucinate, which leads to her and the train traveling through time to the distant past. As the train travels through time it changes history, as it is headed directly for the future. The girl and her mother, played by Paul Dano, and other passengers are caught in the middle of the changes to history as well. The train changes history because the woman's parents were at the end of a relationship and the man she loved had a serious accident that left her severely injured. Because of this the history now takes an all-out negative turn. The train suddenly arrives at the second of the past. The group of passengers are taken into the past by the very man who raped the mother. They come to meet the man who raped their mother and are then thrust into the future and unknowingly killing the man he raped. The man in the future is Jack, played by Jeff Bridges, and he is the one who was at the end of his relationship and has left his family. He is now married to a beautiful girl, who is about to become pregnant. Jack is shocked that he is going to be the father of the girl. In the future, when the woman's parents are now in an affair and Jack is to become the father of the child, the woman escapes the past to prevent the inevitable future. But Jack doesn't know this. He stays in the future and they meet again and it is now the future and they are traveling back in time to the present where Jack is still married and pregnant. There is a scene where they kiss. If they had left Jack's wife and been married in the future, it would have been awkward for Jack. I think the reason Jack didn't know this is because he was too busy thinking about his future and his past. But I have to say that his reaction and her reaction were very strange. She seems to be unaware that she is going to meet Jack and thinking of him as the other man he raped and left her for in the past. Jack has a strange compulsion to kill the man who raped his wife. But he is really not interested in the man, or that would be the case if he knew he was going to meet him, and his reaction was a mix of both emotions. I also have to mention that the movie is so darn fast-paced. The movie doesn't have a dull moment, but I also have to mention that the movie goes at a fast pace because the trains has to travel at such a high speed. It's also a very violent movie, which I think is an effective means of explaining the reasoning behind the ending. I would have to say that there are more to the movie than I have given credit for. It is an action movie, which it probably doesn't need to be, and it also shows some elements of the plot theory as well. It also does things that I have never seen in any other movie, including a train disappearing in the middle of the movie. It also has some scenes that I have never seen in any other movie, like the scene where the family is told that their son is dead, and then the mother has to leave the room to get ready to bury him. I have seen this in some other movies, like in A Clockwork Orange. But this was by far the most extreme action scene that I have ever seen. I can't even imagine how many people are going to jump for joy that the train has turned

The result of two best friends and their cuckolding obsession. With a full length feature length. While this doesn't have the depth of any of Wes Craven's lesser movies, it is a great film with a complex story to discuss with friends. It has a good amount of violence, and gore. It's really not what I expected and I'm not disappointed. The two main characters are believable, you really get to know them and when the story starts to get better you start to enjoy what you've got. So it's not as bad as I thought it would be, so it was pretty good. Also, the ending is satisfying. If I had one criticism, it would be that I didn't think the main characters were going to survive the whole movie. Also, there is some really cheesy dialogue that makes it hard to connect with the story. This one is worth watching.

Lukas Moodysson's "The Erinyes" is a highly intelligent and creative horror movie that shows how big the influence of CGI movies like "Interstella 5555" and "Blade Runner" is today. "Erinyes" is the first film by Swedish director Milo Borchers who has done some great movies like "The Poseidon Adventure" and "Circus". Nowhere is this more apparent than in "Erinyes". This is one of those movies that has more plot holes than anything else. The story is also very good, but it also has a few plot holes. You could argue that this is intentional because of the plot holes. But the point here is that you will have fun watching this movie because the movie has some really cool monsters. The story, while somewhat predictable, is still very smart and the entire movie is very fun to watch. I am a big fan of Norwegian director Jørgen Vig Knudstorp. You will definitely enjoy this movie. If you want a film that is smart and fun and also has an interesting plot than this is the film for you.

I thought this movie was great. I went into the movie with a few expectations, I'd heard about it and it looked like it might be good. And it turned out to be a good movie. Definitely worth watching. Just don't expect any gore, it's a horror film, not a horror comedy. (It's good, but the horror is overplayed.) I love the idea of the whole outbreak, and the fact that the film basically takes place in the infected, or infected person's own body. All the infected are fascinating in their own way. They're extremely unusual, and you might not be able to identify who is infected before it's too late, and this is where the acting becomes interesting. They all give great performances. I don't think one scene is too long and I've never seen that before in a horror film. The action sequences are very, very, very good. The most surprising thing about the movie, which isn't too surprising in my opinion, is that it doesn't repeat the "Friday the 13th" movies, it's original and it's not "rehash". I think the actors do a good job in representing the characters, and the direction and filming are all very good. The characters are all different, but you can tell there are certain similarities between them. I liked the use of modern technology in the film, the music is also quite good. The ending is also very good, in a way it's very surprising because of the dialogue, which is pretty incredible. You might want to see this movie, it's worth seeing. 7.5/10

Not a typical shawshank redemption or the explanation of the war, which most popular view was in the introduction of the film. What happens to the people after the war? More mystery, that's right, more mystery, then the movie delivers, a great experience that keeps you guessing, maybe even entertained. I really liked the use of long shots and interesting points. In fact, there are many points that make you think and even makes you feel what was happening around you.

This movie is a wonderful original story in which the famous female writer of the famous novel, Safina Hirsi Ali, based on the real woman "Zineb Ebrahim", gives an answer to the title of this movie, "The one who changed the world." The movie is one of those when you have to see it and believe it and you will see a very good movie. There is a clear brilliance in this movie that leaves no doubt that it's from an extreme point of view. I wish there are more movies like this one, a great movie. A "Thank God for lawyers." Movie.
