Mitch Nelson, a US Army Captain with Green Berets Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 595, is moving into a new home with his wife and daughter on September 11, 2001, after receiving an assignment to staff duty under LTC Bowers. As news of the devastating terrorist attacks that day break, Nelson volunteers to lead 595 into Afghanistan. Bowers initially refuses, but veteran soldier CW5 Hal Spencer, previously scheduled to retire, persuades Bowers to give Nelson command of 595 again, as well as volunteering himself for the deployment. After leaving their families, 595 travels to Uzbekistan on October 7, 2001. After being briefed and evaluated by COL Mulholland, Commander of 5th Special Forces Group, Nelson and 595 are picked to fight alongside Northern Alliance leader Abdul Rashid Dostum..

In war movies, the survival of the fittest is paramount. This movie is no exception. When you see the setting in the Norwegian woods, it is difficult not to be inspired by the courage of the men that make this movie possible. The acting in this movie is superb, but what really holds the movie together is the character of a young Norwegian man, Sean, who brings his past to light. He believes that his father, a doctor who died during the war, is actually alive and living in Norway. This is when Sean decides to get help from a soldier who lived through the war. The movie is about Sean and how he tries to get his father's story told and his father's story told. It is a movie about the fragility of life and the importance of human dignity.

I'm not sure I agree with all the other reviews of this movie. For one thing, I'm a die-hard D.O.A. fan and the guy who did the review who claimed that this movie was nothing but "movie propaganda" was simply wrong. This movie was nothing but a way for the Viet Cong to recruit an army of black soldiers to fight in the war. I just found the description of the movie in the movie guide on IMDb.com to be very misleading. If you have never seen the movie, you might want to go see it. Just know that it is not propaganda at all. If you want to know how the war started, just go to the library and read the book. In closing, I thought the acting in the movie was excellent, and the movie was very interesting. It's worth seeing. I recommend it.

I saw this movie last night and it was great. I loved it. I liked the story and I liked the fact that it wasn't just a war movie. This is a movie about a love story. It was really sweet. I loved how they put the love story between the two soldiers and the love between the guys and the girl and the other guy and the girl. The acting was really good. I really liked how the guys acted. I loved how they did that kiss scene. I thought the other movie was better. I liked how the movie ended. I was really happy with this movie. I really enjoyed the story and I was happy with how it ended.

The movie was very entertaining. The fighting was very realistic and the scenes were very good. The story line is very strong and well done. It's not about the political views or religion. It's about family, love, and it's about the horrors of war and it's about the love and love of the people. This is what the movie is all about. The movie is realistic and realistic is what makes it so entertaining. It's not about political opinions or religion. It's about family and love. It's about fighting for love. I think the story is very good. It's a really good movie.

As I sat through the film, I was struck by the true humanity of this story. Each individual played a character with tremendous depth. The performances were all exceptional. The photography was beautiful and I especially liked the ending. I'm not sure what the director intended, but I think it was a great idea. It was refreshing to see a war movie that didn't make the US military look like big jerks. I liked the character development, the historical perspective and the depiction of the history. It was an amazing film and it's the kind of movie that you will want to see over and over again. It's a must see.

Took my little sister to see this movie for her 10th birthday. We watched the entire thing together. As a WWII vet, I can say the movie was accurate, and it really kept my attention the whole time. The characters, and their stories were so authentic. My little sister told me the story behind the mother and daughter in the movie. They were in hiding in a house that had no electricity and had a horse that kept stealing everything. I have never been to a war film like this before, and I don't think I ever will be. One thing I did like about this movie was the actors. I thought they did a good job portraying their characters. I know that they had to portray things a lot differently than I experienced, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the movie. It was a great movie to show my kids, and it kept my attention the whole time. My little sister and I were both very satisfied with this movie.

I saw this film at a screening at the Cineworld theater in Melbourne. I was impressed. It was shot beautifully. It was a decent film and a very good WWII film. I would like to say the movie was beautiful and the music was superb. However, I did find it very confusing at times and I had to refer to my knowledge of history to understand what was going on. The most I could make out was that the Germans were using the Sudetenland as a base from which to fight the Russians and the Japanese. I think that the movie does not explain why the Germans wanted to seize this territory. I think they were trying to control the Sudetenland, but could not. I think the reason they did not take it was because they were told by the Americans that they had to take it. I think it was too complicated. If it was simple it would have been a better movie. The fighting scenes were superb, but the writing was flawed. If it was just a fighting scene, it would have been better. It was a poorly written story. There were many plot holes. I would say the writing was poor. Overall, I think it was a good film.

There are few movies that stick to the facts, or at least stay true to the facts. Those movies are often comedies, but there are no battles, no explosions, no romance, no realistic and sane situations. Most are made by folks who have their own agendas. This movie sticks to the facts, the players are real people, and there are no happy endings, or uninteresting characters. This movie also offers no surprises, no happy endings, or characters who change their mind, or people who suddenly change their mind. It's a war movie, and a very interesting one. It's one of the best war movies ever made, and should be shown more often. It's also an excellent movie about the first half of the 20th century, which was a pivotal time for the world. It is about the end of the last battle of the last war in the 20th century, which is about a large defeat of the French Army at the beginning of the 20th century. It's about the battle of Verdun, which is probably the bloodiest battle of the 20th century. It's about the real heroes of the war. It's about the war itself. If you've seen any of the movies, you will understand this. This movie is a must see. I highly recommend it.

I just got back from seeing the movie, and I loved it. It was one of the most intense movies I've ever seen. The cinematography was very good, the story was very well told and very well executed. I had heard that the story wasn't good, but I thought that was a shame, because it was the story that made this movie. I'm glad I went to see it, because I will be watching it again.

There are many, many times in history when we have seen in the movies what could have been in the real world. Many times we have been caught in the middle of a conflict that had not occurred yet. "There are times when you can go where the winds blow and you can never turn back" - George Santayana

Worth watching it with family. There is some terrific German and US language performances. The Germans are all great and believable.

I have been a fan of Joseph Fiennes for some time. I'm also a fan of Oliver Stone, and after watching this film I realized I don't have to agree with any of his beliefs. This is a film that addresses some real issues. The U.S. soldiers were all Americans. Yes, they had seen and experienced things that the rest of us would not have experienced. And they were prepared for battle. However, they were not ready for the consequences of war. This film has a very unique style. There are sequences in this film that are so intense, that I almost forgot I was watching a film. There are also sequences that have many interesting points to them. In this film, the soldiers are supposed to be the heroes of the war, but it is very clear that they were not heroes. Oliver Stone has created a film that is very interesting, and that I would recommend to anyone who has any interest in history. This film is very detailed, and at times very difficult to follow. The film is about two brothers who are both in the army, and a plot that is both realistic and unrealistic. The violence is very real, but there is also a lot of symbolism. Oliver Stone has created a film that is very much relevant to today's world. I believe that anyone who is looking for a film that can change the way people think, and who can be a great movie, should see this film. This film is a must-see. I highly recommend it to anyone who has any interest in history.

As far as I'm concerned, the story of the War of the Roses is never more alive than in this movie. Yes, the battle scenes are somewhat melodramatic and show a certain bias in British filmmaking towards the Lancastrian side. But the historical accuracy of the story is amazing and what makes this movie so special. I can watch it over and over again. I don't care what the script is about. It's the subject matter that matters. I can't imagine a person who didn't like this movie, nor a movie that wasn't very enjoyable to them. It's very entertaining, dramatic and well thought out. The use of flashback in this movie is something very rare in today's movies. I especially loved the way they brought back memories of King Richard III, the historical character that was captured on screen and brought to life by this movie. All in all, this is a very interesting and well done film, I highly recommend it. It is more than just a movie about the War of the Roses. It is an event that can be looked back on and seen through the eyes of a 12 year old boy.

I liked this film. It was well paced and really captured the story of a young African American boy named Elijah. Elijah was raised by his aunt (his mother) and uncle. He has some strong moral beliefs, which made him feel different from his other brothers and sisters. But he is well-educated and he loves to read and listen to music. This film is about the character of Elijah and what he thinks about war and what he thinks about the enemy. I don't like too much war films. But I was really impressed by this one. It was really good. It showed that even though he was a young boy, he was an intelligent person. The acting was really good and the story was really good. I liked it very much. I hope that more movies like this will come out. I would love to see more war films.

Great movie from start to finish. Stunning cinematography. Great to see the REAL Japanese soldiers. I'm amazed at the movie's simplicity. What the hell was going on in that theater? I am still in awe about how the movie has captured the essence of war. You can't help but be in awe of the Japanese soldiers. I recommend this movie to anyone, especially WWII buffs, or anyone who wants to see a great movie. This is a must see.

I am a film buff, and as such, a fan of many of the films that were shown in the United Kingdom. I saw "The Thin Red Line" in a cinema in London, and found the first hour of this film very hard to watch. When it got to the second half of the film, I was gripped. The last 30 minutes or so of the film, and the end, are very emotional and powerful. I saw the film on a double bill with "The Producers", and found the first half of "The Producers" very dull, and at times a little boring. I could not believe how effective this film was, and was even surprised by the ending. "The Thin Red Line" is about a large US Army unit who is sent to the jungle to recover a prisoner of war from a prisoner of war camp. The film begins very well, and at one point we are almost with them. This sets the stage for the rest of the film. The troops are exhausted, and the camp is a bloody and horrific hellhole, but what happens next is the real story. The film never loses its power, and ends in a very powerful and emotional way. This is a very powerful film, and an important film to see. One of the best films I have seen in recent years. Very moving, powerful and one of the most powerful films I have ever seen.

This movie gives an accurate, albeit simplified, history of the events that led to the Battle of the Somme. It is more than a movie; it is an important historical document. It is also a film that tells the story of an individual, one man, that changed the course of history. It is also a film that tells the story of a man that caused so much pain, destruction, and death, but that was not a villain; he was simply a soldier that had to do his duty, and did so very well. This film is also a very beautiful film, filled with beautiful cinematography, wonderful art direction, and gorgeous costumes. I have no idea how the film was shot, but it is a stunningly beautiful film. But the real beauty of this film is the acting. The acting is phenomenal, and all of the actors give such great performances. The supporting cast also does a great job. I can't praise this film enough. This is a truly great film, a wonderful film, a beautiful film, a film that should be required viewing for any American.

In the distant future, in the far reaches of the unknown, there is a secret group known as The Freeborn, who stand in defiance against the oppressive government and are recognized by the country as being of no concern. One of these Freeborn is Richard Kimble, an undercover member of the government who goes on a killing spree. Soon, the government is forced to arrest him and place him in an isolation cell where he is treated like an animal, but in reality he is in a life threatening situation. Richard's treatment is one of the best character developments I have seen in any film. His interrogation of a government agent by the name of Peter Stormare is possibly one of the best of any film. As Richard is forced to face a horrible reality, his actions are met with his own retributive actions and the story becomes the more brutal. By the end of the film, you are forced to choose your side. If you choose the side of the government, you are stuck with an ending that will leave you feeling violated, but at the same time, in control. If you choose the side of the Freeborns, you feel like your voice has been silenced and your own choices are meaningless. The direction by Wes Craven is amazing, the acting is wonderful, and the special effects are amazing. I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a gripping and amazing character driven story.

This movie is the best WW1 movie I've ever seen. It's a great film that doesn't take itself too seriously. It was very interesting to see a movie that is not a documentary, but a WW1 movie. It was just as entertaining and fascinating as a documentary. The music was also good. I recommend this movie to everyone. It's a great movie that is not too serious.

The Story is a basic one. Civil War re-enactors are kidnapped and must fight for their lives as they try to escape and come to terms with what they have done. The action is intense. Not the usual Hollywood standard of a good guy with a good guy fighting a bad guy with a big bad guy. There is no time for rest. The Story moves at a pace that makes you think and appreciate the gritty gritty reality of war. And the actors give the characters a soul and character that is so real. I also liked the theme of the Civil War, which was a common theme of the war movies. That was a refreshing change. The cast is very good, the photography is amazing, the pace is perfect and the only flaw is the ending. I wish there was a little more dialog in that ending. I would recommend this movie to everyone. It is a great movie and I feel a little sorry for the people who are not fans of war movies.

I'm not sure what exactly got me into watching this movie. There was no way I was going to see a war movie starring one of my favorite actors, Tom Hanks. My wife didn't want me to see it, I was a bit scared. But then I saw it. I was in awe. I can't believe it. I was totally hooked. I felt like I was in the trenches. I felt like I was there. I have never felt more connected to a movie. This movie was absolutely spectacular. It captured my heart and made me laugh, cry, and be moved. I'm actually so sad that Tom Hanks passed away. He was so great in this movie. I can't wait to see what he does next.

I just saw this movie last night at the movies.I was not a fan of "Saving Private Ryan", and I thought this movie was going to be very boring, and I'm so wrong. This movie was very emotional.I cried like a baby, and it's the best movie I've seen in a long time. The story is very well done. The movie keeps you interested from the start to the end.I was totally in love with this movie, and I think you should too.I can't wait for the DVD.I just love this movie, and I give it 9/10.
